Types of diodes include Zener diodes, rectifier diodes, tunnel diodes, fast recovery diodes, microwave diodes, Schottky diodes, and the like. These diodes are available in one or more packages. Maintenance methods of PCB components
1. According to the manual, first check whether there is a signal (waveform) at the input and output terminals. If there is input but no output, check if there is a control signal (clock) for the IC. If there is, the integrated circuit is likely to be damaged. There are no control signals. Trace it to its upper pole until you find the broken IC.
2. If you find one, don’t take it off the pole just yet. You can choose the same model. We need to put the IC with the same program content on it and observe whether it is damaged.
3. We can use the tangent jumper method to find short circuits. If you find any signal wires, you can cut the wires and measure again. Judge whether the IC is in good condition by seeing if the image is getting better.
4. We need to find a computer board with the same content and test it to see if the IC is damaged.
5. Test IC in Microcomputer Universal Programmer (all-0307) (expro-80100, etc.) with ictest software
Disassembly method
1. Foot cutting method: no damage to the board, non-recyclable
2. We’re going to solder both sides of the IC pins and use a high temperature soldering iron to drag them back and forth. (This can easily lead to damage to the board, but testing the IC is fine)
3. Barbecue method: Barbecue on alcohol lamp, gas stove, electric stove, etc. After the tin on the board melts, the IC will come out (not easy to grasp)
4. Tin Pot Method: Make a special tin pot on an electric stove. After the tin has melted, dip the IC into the tin pot. We had to remove the IC without damaging the board. Use a dedicated electric heat gun to remove the chip. Pay attention to the part of IC pins that must be taken out.
