Pangong Lake
Everyone visits this place and even you should not be missing out on this gem! Depicting so many crystal clear shades of water , the tranquility the place offers is off charts and can never be described in words. A part of you will always stay there and there will be a huge change within you. This 134 kilometers gem cannot be missed by any chance.
Shanti Stupa
Established by the Dalai Lama , this spiritual abode is home to many breathtaking views. Do visit especially at times of sunset and make the best of it. The main aim behind this place was to promote world peace. It looks even more beautiful when you see it on full moon days.
Khardung La Pass
Known as the Pass of Lower Castle , don’t miss out on this one! It has beautiful views and is very popular for biking. There are many shops beside where you can buy some souvenirs. Sip on some tea , eat some hot tasty snacks and let your eyes take an entire view.
Hemis Monastery
A rich burst of culture and Tibetan traditions this is a must visit. It has the biggest thangka points and there is the famous annual celebration of Lord Padmasambhava and the entire area is so beautiful and mesmerizing with food , dances , music and so many locals to interact with.
Tso Moriri Lake
A very secluded lake with beautiful mountain landscapes and serenity all around. This place is the largest alpine lake in India and camping here at nights is the most famous activity around. It is a perfect place to take out your camera and take some great shots , bird watching and reconnecting with nature.
Magnetic Hill
The unique phenomenon that happens at this place is something that attracts many tourists. If you park your bike on a marked spot in that area , it defies gravity and moves upwards on the hill. There is also a Yak Safari that goes on during certain times of the year. Trekking is also an option around here.
Nubra Valley
The real beauty of Leh Ladakh can only be seen from here. An amalgamation of Nubra and Shyok Rivers , the snow covered mountains , cool breeze and scenic landscapes are coupled with sand dunes. It cannot get better than this. There are many pleasant meadows , apple orchards and sanctimonious monasteries. You can take some splendid shots here , get on a camel ride or a jeep safari upon your convenience.
Namgyal Tsemo Gompa

There are endless monasteries that are serene and divine in their own way , each having their own story to tell. It isn’t just a photographic spot but something deeper than that. It gives you so much peace , allows you to meditate and towards the end of this trip you’ll be able to answer some very deep questions. Trust me , it really changes you as a person in so many dimensions. This monastery is famous for its golden statue of Maitrey Buddha. The road to reach there is very spiritual itself and inside there are beautiful intricate Tibetan paintings and flags.
